Race for Education 2020

The Parent Partnership Organization is once again hosting Race for Education.  This fundraiser encourages fun, fellowship and physical activity.  Simply, our students and families ask those they know for a donation, of any amount, that is then used by the PPO to continue funding of field trips, bus transportation, extra curricular activities, classroom enhancements and special projects.

RECAP:

In 2019, we challenged our families to raise $15,000 - and they blew it out of the water! God worked through His people to provide resources totaling over $30,000! AMAZING!!!  We were equally excited to celebrate that over 70% of our families participated in this fundraiser!

The special project resources were spent on upgrading classroom and staff technology.  Each teacher received a new Chromebook, and each classroom has been equipped with smart TVs, and casting services like AppleTV and Chromecast.  And what a blessing it was as our kids were sent home to learn virtually in March.  Our staff quickly got to work, safely at home as well, utilizing the new technology to successfully instruct our students from a distance.

Thank you for your Partnership!

WHAT'S NEXT

This time, we are challenging our families to raise $25,000.

Our special project focus this year is help give the school building a face lift.  Many of you many of you may know that our gym floor was redone and the space has been newly painted.  A  much needed face lift for a space we use so often!  Base on need, this year's special project funds will be used to continue this process throughout the school building.  This may include, but is not limited to, painting school hallways, new and additional cubby spaces, additional classroom furnishings, outdoor mats, and lobby updates.
