What We Believe and Teach

It's All His + He Saves + His Will is what is Best for Us

These three truths are the heart of our belief. God the Father provides all we need, after all, He created us and all that we have been blessed with. God the Son, Jesus Christ, died and rose again so that we may have forgiveness of our wrongs and through that be able to forgive others. And, God the Holy Spirit, walks with us daily to encourage us and keep us close to Him.

Connecting, Caring & Sharing in Christ

"You will be my witnesses." -Jesus

What an unbelievable promise by Jesus when you consider faith's journey! Yet, His promise is one we embrace at St. John's. We are a group with very different passions and experiences coming together in the journey of faith.

The journey of faith we share together at St. John's is described as "Discipleship in as many places as possible." To that end, many opportunities to grow in your faith walk are offered. Here are just a few:

  • Weekly Worship opportunties, in both traditional and contemporary formats;
  • Weekly opportunities to grow deeper in your faith walk;
  • Stewardship ministries to help you share the blessings that God has given you through Financial Peace Univeristy or creating or updating your will and estate;
  • Annual Retreat opportunities for men, women, couples and youth;
  • Recreational activities like softball teams, trap shooting teams and Service groups like quilting and card ministry;
  • Mission trip opportunities to India, Alaska, and Kentucky (just to name a few).

And there is so much more! Click here to learn more about St. John's.

  • dig deeper in god's word

    We invite you to come and be a part of Discipleship Hour on Sunday mornings at 9:25 am in the school gym.

    Discipleship Hour is one of St. John’s most powerful (and convenient) ways your household can grow and be encouraged in your journey of faith. If you read the Discipleship Hour Pamphlet (see link below) on the various options for Breakout Sessions, you can select the one that will be most helpful to you in your faith journey and apply God’s real Word to real life.

    Childcare for infants - 2 year olds is available, while 3 year olds - 7th grade can participate in their own class, as adults participate in one of several teacher lead sessions.

    Come be a part of it while making some new connections within your church family!
